Bella Girls

I can't stand it! I just love these Bella girls! Two gals in my office have their birthday's within a week of each other so I made these cards up for them. I just love to personalized them by trying to make the hair color like the person I am making the card for. The colors were just perfect! Thanks for checking in on me! I am going to be a busy little bee this weekend trying to finish up orders for customers so check back tomorrow. There are a few things I am so excited to share! TGIF!!!

Christmas Cards

Basic Grey puts out a fabulous line of paper. They came up with a really nice Christmas card class that I taught at Scrapbook Garden. Here is a sampling of some of the cards. They really get you to think outside the box on design. Hope you are having a great week so far!

More Blocks

Here they are! I have finally finished these blocks! I had a gal order a sister block and then she wanted me to make 3 more that say dream, believe, & achieve. The thing is all the blocks I made before were from rub ons. So I tried to make a rub on with my printer and an overhead transparency. I am sure it would have been fine in a different font but I just didn't like it. So I painted over it and penciled the words out and painted them in with a black paint pen. I like them a lot better now! My customer specifically asked for this color combo as she sells Mary Kay and she wanted to give these to a few gals in her down line. Any way I guess the moral to the story is never give up...:) Have a great Sunday! My girls and I are off to church and then for a fun afternoon at a Christmas craft fair downtown! Wahoo!

Snowman Box

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We ate so good we probably don't need to eat for a week! I made this cute little box for the gift giving season. I thought it would be cute filled with someones favorite goodies. It was very easy to make. I just traced the sides and made a pattern and then cut the rest of the sides from the pattern and glued everything on. It only took about 30 minutes to put together. Hope you have a great weekend! I am off to finish a few other projects. Check back tomorrow I will have some more blocks to show you! Thanks for peeking in!

Sister Block

I had an order for another sister block. The customer requested pink and brown. I thought this one came out pretty cute. In fact my sister just might get one for Christmas!! I will have three more to post tomorrow...I have tried my hand at making your own rub ons with overhead transparencies. Well see how that goes. Have a good week!

Thanksgiving Card

Better late than never...as I always say. I cracked open the Thanksgiving stamp set I bought a few months ago. Seems like life gets crazy sometimes and you make all these plans to get things done and then before you know it...where did the time go??? One of my girls had a field trip to Dillons. Her class purchased everything to make a family in need a Thanksgiving dinner. (I thought that was a great idea) Any way she asked me to make a card that the whole class could sign and this is what I came up with. I loved it. Now I just need to get a few more done **wink wink** Thanks for checkin' in. I wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving holiday.

Band Aid Tins

These little guys are so cute. I put them together with left over paper from other projects and added a little bit of bling to each one. They went over pretty well at the last craft fair. I found these cute little half size pens that fit inside just perfect. Thanks for peekin' in...almost Friday...have a great day tomorrow!

Altered Signs

Here are a few fun signs I made for the craft fair. I went to Lowes and believe it or not there were 2x4's on the trash pile and the guy in the lumber department gave them to me. I used some paint we had around the house and I put the girls to work! They love to paint! Once the wood was dry we applied the rub on phrase. That was a little bit too boring so we had to snap things up a bit and add some texture with another color and a few flowers and ribbon. I got the idea from the CK convention...one of the girls I work with went to the Tulsa convention and saw something similar there. I had to change mine up a bit so it wasn't exactly the same **wink wink** Thanks for stoppin' in. Have a great weekend!

Paint Cans

Here is a fun item I had in the craft fair...small paint cans. You can pick them up at any hardware store. They are just perfect for gift giving. I made one similar to this one for my boss for his birthday and filled it with dark chocolate...his favorite. I decided to stick with the college themes, they seem to sell better than anything else. All of the college paper I have found has been at Scrapbook Garden. They have WSU, KState, KU, OSU, OU and Nebraska and a pretty wide selection of embellishments too. Thanks for peekin' in...thank goodness tomorrow is Friday I am so ready for the weekend!
