Western Invitation

Here is a fun little invitation I made for one of Mike's cousin's birthday parties. She was turning 50 and her sister wanted to have a fun party with family and friends. I searched all the magazines for ideas and saw something similar to this...I just tweaked mine up a bit and came up with this fun little invitation. I tied twine around the front of the card to give it that added western look. We had a good time and I got a lot of complements on the invitation! Thanks for peekin' in.

Sidney's Bday Invite

This is such a busy time of year for us...both of the girls have bdays so close together. Here is Sidney's invitation. I used SU's lavender lace and perfect plum stamp pads for the butterflies. The metal rim tag is also SU, the ric rac is some I picked up at Walmart. I've had it for a while (probably 6 mos) and bought it thinking I would use it for something (ever done this?). Birthday Invitation

Our little Haley will be turning 12 very soon so we needed to get on the birthday invitations. I thought these turned out so cute. She loved them. I stamped the image on glossy card stock and then with sponges used different colors of inks and bam...Haley watched me do the first one and then she wanted to finish the rest! She is so crafty! You might notice that I changed my blog page. I really liked the colors and everything of the last page but I couldn't get it to do the things that I wanted. Now I can. I don't think it looks too bad. Anyway...thanks for stopping in! ~T
