Birthday Invitation

Our little Haley will be turning 12 very soon so we needed to get on the birthday invitations. I thought these turned out so cute. She loved them. I stamped the image on glossy card stock and then with sponges used different colors of inks and bam...Haley watched me do the first one and then she wanted to finish the rest! She is so crafty! You might notice that I changed my blog page. I really liked the colors and everything of the last page but I couldn't get it to do the things that I wanted. Now I can. I don't think it looks too bad. Anyway...thanks for stopping in! ~T

Small Paint Can

Here is a fun idea I saw at Splitcoaststampers...all those memories...so little time. We have all been there...too many things going on to stop and scrapbook memories but when you are ready to sit down and do it you have forgotten when that first tooth came in or when she took her first step. This is a pretty clever idea though. Keep little scraps of paper inside the can and jot down a short memory like "Haley took her first steps May 3, 07" then when you are ready to come back and scrap those memories you are ready. I wish I would have thought of this when my girls were little! Thanks for stopping in...have a great weekend! ~Toni

Cards

I was so excited when I got the mail today! I ordered Marvy scalloped punches...they are so hard to come by right now they are "the" thing to buy for card making. Anyway I couldn't stand it I had to try them out. Check out the card I made last night. This card was made from scraps of other projects. I like to try to use every stitch of paper if I can!
Thanks for stoping in. Have a good night! ~T

Sisters Page

This is one of my favorite pictures of the girls. Every time I look at it I can't help but smile. I thought the colors of the paper really brought out the colors in the picture. That is one of the reasons I like doing custom work. You can choose paper that will accent your photos it just seems to bring your page to life! I recently purchased a Cricut machine so the title and flowers on the top of the page are done with that. I used some chipboard pieces at the bottom to enhance the journaling. I am hoping to get some cards posted soon. I just got my Marvy scalloped punches in the mail today and am dying to try them out! Thanks for stopping in! ~T

School Pages

Well...I have so many different photos of the girls at school through out the school year I decided to make a memory album for each one. Every school year is just a little bit different. Some years I have several pics from different activities and other years all I have is the traditional 8x10 school photo and the class photo. But at least they are organized by year. I try to choose colors of paper that enhance the color of clothing they are wearing and sometimes I add a flower or different stickers just to add a bit of "bling". I try to remember important things that happened that year so I can journal a bit on each page. The girls get so excited when I finish another page for their book. It is fun to sit back and look at how much they have changed! Sheesh...they grow up too fast!!!

Thanks for stoping in! ~T

Winter Page Layout

Hey there.

Well the weather has turned cold again! So I thought what the heck let's dig out some winter photos and scrapbook them! I am a little behind as these are pics of the girls in 2004 but I don't usually scrap in order. I do what I feel like doing...I think pages turn out better that way! I am hoping to post more scrap pages soon. Have a great week...what's left...one day closer to Friday!

Thanks for stoping in.

Photo Frame

Hey there! Hope you are having a great weekend. After the rain FINALLY cleared up we have had a beautiful Sunday! I just love the spring time! Makes we want to open our pool and enjoy our backyard! Anyway, I managed to make a photo frame this weekend. These are really pretty simple and they look so stinkin cute when they are done. Basically it is just a inexpensive frame covered with scrapbook paper. I used Modge Podge for my adhesive and added some fun little embellishments. Thanks for stoping in...hope you are out enjoying this beautiful weather! ~T
