Accomplishment

This weekend Haley took a babysitting class at the American Red Cross downtown. I was a little nervous for her because she didn't know anyone, but I was so proud of her because she didn't say one thing about being nervous. She was very excited to take the class. There were 9 girls from all around the city that were in class. When I came to pick her up she said "Mom...Mom come in here I want you to meet all the girls!" She made friends with all the girls in class and they all exchanged phone numbers and email addresses! I don't know why I was so worried. I guess because I remember being that age once and feeling a little nervous when I didn't know anyone. But she did great! She has her first baby sitting job next Monday evening for a couple of hours. Did I say I was proud of her? I know I did but I just can't believe my baby is growing up so fast!

Tell Haley I'm proud of her too. That is so awesome and I know what you mean about being nervous for her. I'm still nervous for Ryan...I guess we just always want to protect...jeez maybe that's why my dad flies off the wall still and I'm almost 48...LOL

Woo, woo, now she will have her own money. I made a good income babysitting when I was 12 on through 16. If you are good, you can work more than you want. Congratulations.
